I think Larry's reputation preceeded him and made a not so favorable impression with Terri. Janet must have surely told her all about him when presenting the idea of becoming a roommate. Besides, she wasn't too thrilled about the idea of going out with him in the first place!

I thought she seemed thrilled with it until when she found out what happened at the end.

I think it is because only an incredibly stupid girl could ever be interested in Larry, and Terri is far too intelligent

Good Point, that's why Larry was nervous around her because he was intimidated by the fact that Terri wasn't a DUMB BLONDE
