The COSBY SHOW!!!!!!. I just knew the 3rd season would be out by now. Not that I would buy it but i just thought since it's popular on Cable that it would be released on DVD. Especially since the Dukes of Hazzard is on DVD

Its no big mystery.

Carsey-Werner is looking for a disributor.
And I assure you, when it is release (along with Roseanne) they'll be 2 of the highest selling TV shows ever.

Progress has been made. Carsey-Werner found a distributer for That '70s Show - Twentieth Century Fox. Hopefully, they can ink a similar deal with Fox (or another distributor) for The Cosby Show, Roseanne and Grounded For Life.

There's no doubt that they wouldnt sell, so Twentieth Century Fox is the best hope (seeing that they usually have great special features)

Hey guys, don't forget 3rd Rock from the Sun! This show has been available on DVD overseas for quite some time now. (I think they already have 3 seasons out)

I agree with barwars, that Fox is a good choice to release the other C-W sitcoms. They are good with special features, and with shows like Cosby Show and Roseanne which lasted many seasons, hopefully they'd release a set every 6 months or so. (unlike Columbia, which takes forever with some of their shows...)

Roseanne's said that she's like the DVD to come out, and that she's prepared to do a tonne of behind the scenes features for it, explaining who got fired when, and what the battle qwas behind each episode.

I wouldn't likely buy the first season otherwise, but I'd buy it just for her commentary, which would be great, because she's very open and honest about things now, even calling herself a raving bitch back then.

If Rosie does do the commentary, I'm in for every single season.

Unless of course, they pull a Simpsons.

I highly doubt Roseanne will buddy up with Carsey/Werner and John Goodman and record commentary tracks for every episode, lol

She said she'd do anything for the DVDs.... as long as it doesnt take away from her syndication money.
