swedeace 07-27-2004, 10:23 AM In about four hours, I will head on over to the airport to begin my three-plane change for my journey to Sweden. I will arrive to Sweden tomorrow, July 28th, and I will return on the 4th of August. There is internet access at the hostel I am staying in, so I will logon there and post a greeting!! :D
See you all then in Sweden!! Miss ya all!!

Glampire 07-28-2004, 12:22 AM I hope you have a great time! Kiss all the Abba fans while you're there, LOL!
One question though...do you speak Swedish? I don't, although I do know somebody in Denmark, so they speak Danish, teehee. :)
Anyway, have an awesome trip!!!
swedeace 07-28-2004, 09:39 AM Thanks, everyone!!!
Greetings from a sunny, partly cloudy Amsterdam!!! Yep, I still haven't arrived in Sweden because of a major flight delay; therefore, I'm stuck at the Amsterdam airport (with 6 Euros for 30 minutes of internet access) for 5.5 hours!! :(
Such a long wait, but I will be sooo happy once I arrive in the land of Sweden!! :D
Glampire: Yes, I am able to read and speak some Swedish, but listening to it verbally, I have to submerge in it myself. :)
roseannefan4ever14 07-28-2004, 07:58 PM Hey, swedeace  hope you have fun! Also, swedeace can you tell me what this means in Swedish- Ja, Ja because there was an exchange student awhile ago who came to visit who kept saying that. Thanks!
Blossom 07-31-2004, 06:52 AM Swedace: I hope you will have a great time here in our little country! As you can see for yourself, almost all the rain is gone so I guess you have a geat weather (at least I think thats sun in Göteborg to). Bra att du har Internet på hotelet, håll oss uppdaterade.
roseannefan4ever14: You said that your exchangestudent was saying "ja-ja" all the time, thats the swedish word for "yeah - yeah". If he just said "ja", thats was the word for "yes".

swedeace 08-02-2004, 04:48 PM Hallå everyone!!!
Here I am posting in an internet cafe in Göteborg, Sweden!!!! Shoutouts from a warm and sunny day!! Well, it has been these past five days, but right now it´s already 22:46 (or 10:46 p.m.) in Europe. It´s still quite early in the afternoon in the U.S. Just when I am getting used to the European timezone, I am leaving in about 1.5 days. :( Ah, well... I am getting a bit homesick already anyway.... :p
P.S. If anyone is online right now within the next hour, can someone tell me how to log off on a public computer? I don´t want my username to be on this machine... Thanks!!!
P.P.S. I didn´t have time to catch Full House here in Sweden, but I am missing it.
Love ya all and see you all soon!!
swedeace 08-05-2004, 11:06 AM I'm back!!!! :D
I came late last night, and I'm going to head on over to work in a few hours and also take one of my two remaining finals later today.
Anyway, it's good to be back!!!
