First let me expalin.
You know I'm only allowed on the computer one hour a day, right?
Well, just a little bit ago while I was eating dinner, my dad told me that he's gonna get this software on my computer that tells him EXATLY how much time I've been on it and everywhere I go (internet and desktop)!
So I don't know if I should come back here after he gets the software, because he might not like some of the things people say here (not on this board, I mean anywhere on Sitcoms Online). So I'm afraid.
But if I ever get the chance to be on someone elses computer, I will defintly come here and talk to you guys!
You guys are my super great friends! I would hate to not be able to talk to any of you....

And I have a question.
Does that software my Dad was talking about....can it see you register in and type in your password, and everything? If you can, please tell me more about it.

Oh my Gosh! This stinks :(
I mean, even if your dad DID get that software, couldn't you just keep track of whrere you go and what you say? That stinks though! We all love you here and don't want you to leave! Why don't you just tell your dad that we don't say anything bad here and we just talk about our favorite TV shows?

That's awful:( Mackenzie, you will be truly missed here. Just try to remember if you don't come back that all of us on here care about you and will miss youso much.:)

Try not talking about the computer and make it seem you're never on it, that way your dad will forget about the software and you can stay! Just try to make him forget about it, but don't be too obvious ;)

Couldn't you not come on during the day and come at night while everyone's sleeping and delete the record the software keeps of where you're going?

You could come back, but just dont go on Chit Chat, which is where they say all the bad stuff. You could still go on Chit Chat Games and Chit Chat Music, too.

Is that what u did? You could help me if you want.

we never got the tracking software at my house. but what you should do is that on the desktob or in your harddrive there should be some sort of icon and you throw it into the trash. The files will be deleted and your dad will have to re-download the software. then if you can't go on sneak on while your parents are asleep.

She'll just get in trouble for deleting the software and he would just think you're trying to hide something. And besides, it's most likely password protected so she can't delete it or tamper with it. I would just watch what you say and only go to certain boards here at Sitcoms Online. You're worrying way too much about it.

Oh, and most of the software out there can see every single move you make. So if you use messengers he can see everything you do. Including what you click on, the messages you send...and the messages you started to type, but backspace. Just be careful. ;)

yea those things are creepy. they can monitor EVERYTHING U TYPE AND WHAT YOU DO. id be paranoid. i remember i was 12 when i first got the computer and i was on it all the time but my parents trusted me, and when they walked over to see what i was doing, i never minimumized it, you know? dont hide anything and dont be suspicious. i dont know what the problem would be for coming to sitcoms online here anyway, there are moderators and its generally all ages i would think. this is probably the most safest message board... no one knows ur names or where ur from or anything like that.

i think you have to iron out some trust issues with your dad. and make sure he doesnt see these posts where your questioning us. your probably a good kid, but if i found my kids post about how to stop software that my dad put in, id be suspicious!

Yup...my thoughts exactly.

unfortunately my parents mistrusted each other and my father was always harassing my mother about where she went every time she went somewhere. Thank god they got divorced.

I am very worried. I mean, how can he know every letter I type and backspace? I maybe be worrying too much, but I can't help it.

I know. It's a stalker-ish feeling when you are being tracked by software. that's how some people stalk others online. very bad.
