can someone tell me why I suddenly have to login everytime I reply to a post , go to the random boards, or view someone's profile? i switched the browse board with cookies option to no because this box that came up suggested it, but evidently that's not the problem because i still have to constantly log in. :confused:

You want cookies, it keeps track of where you are on the internet, and saves information like log in passwords.

my browser isn't set up for cookies though so i had to change that option to no.

Did you try clearing out your files/cache? That should MAYBE straighten it out.

ok....i don't know why but it's fine now. :lol: i think it's because i edited my options. thanks for the tips anyways!

No prob :D

If you're on Internet Explorer, it's Tools > Internet Options. In the General tab, there's a "Delete Cookies" and "Delete Files" button...you can click on both and it'll clear everything out. If you want to, you can also click on "Clear History". :)

aaaaaaagh!! it's happening again! it won't let me post without logging in and i cleared the cookies and files. why does this keep happening? :mad:

go back to the Tools, Internet Options, and turn the cookies back on, or just reset your security level to Medium or Medium-High
