released on DVD, i will set aside a saturday as the day that i will watch all 24 eps on the DVD which is usually about 7/8 hours. I don;t have a problem doing that because how often does a season from an older show gets released? So i have no problem watching the entire DVD. Anyone else do this besides me? I will do again whenever a Jeffersons season release is announced

I don't understand why it takes 2 weeks to watch one season on DVD. Do you watch 2 eps a day? or every other day?

I try to watch episodes as slow as possible so I don't go through the DVD too fast. I usually watch one a week.

I could never sit down for 7-8 hours and watch the same show. Usually, I will watch a couple of episodes or watch an entire disk, but never the entire season.

usually depends on the mood I'm in.

If it's a sitcom DVD and I'm really "into" it, I'll usually go ahead and watch the entire disc, usually 6 or so episodes, but I'd never watch the entire season in one sitting unless it's an ultra-short one, like the fifth season of Sex And The City which was 8 episodes.

Well watching one disc defintely wouldn;t take you two weeks to watch the entire season. I stilll can;t believe someone said it takes them 2 weeks to watch the entire season of their favorite show.

I take my time with my DVDs I want to enjoy them, and I get bored easily, so I save some for a "Rainy day" so to speak ;)

My WTB DVD I watched in about a week. My ATeam DVD I watched in a few days cause it was a short season

I'm confused again because how can you get bored watching full length eps of your favorite show?? For example, i never saw UNCUT eps of any 1970's show so whenever a season is released i turn my ringer off on my phone so i cannot be disturbed-lol

I did that with Barney Miller. The first season only had 13 episodes though, I don't think I could watch 24 episodes of any show in one sitting.

Well I probably won't watch my WTB Season 1 DVD for awhile, since N@N wore me out on Season 1

I don't find my fav. shows boring, I just am a person who gets bored easily. I can't even hardly watch a movie anymore, :(

When a new show comes to DVD (especially if its one of my favorites).... I'll usually fly through the first disc the night I get it.... then pace my way through the rest of the discs over 1 or 2 weeks.

If it were something like The Dick Van Dyke Show which has 30+ episodes.... then 2 weeks isn't time enough.

I just do not have time to sit down and watch an entire season of any show. The best I have done is the fourth season of M*A*S*H over the course of a three-day weekend.

I think I did watch every episode of Return to the Planet of the Apes in about one day, though. It is animated and probably only came to five or so hours.

Thats cool.
If it was later episodes of Frasier you tried -- I can understand why you couldnt get into it. By that point you needed to already like the show to enjoy the episodes.

But I recommend you try any episodes Season 1-7.

The only reason i have one Mork and Mindy episode in my collection is because it was recorded in from ABC in 1978 with commercials. So it helps me received other shows I like when i do tape trades only because it's an original broadcast.lol
