Henry Blake would have mentioned his wife being pregnant in season 1. I watched "Showtime" today. That's the season 1 finale, where Henry's wife (Mildred) gives birth to a boy. To my knowledge, that episode is the first mention of her pregnancy on the show. It also makes it extra sad when Henry dies at the end of year 3. That means he never even met his son. Another thing Henry should have mentioned in his final episode. Something like "Gee, Radar, I'm finally gonna meet my own son."

He also had an older son and daughter.

I have a hard time watching Henry sometimes, knowing how he ends up :(

MASH continiuty isnt always the best...in some eps Blakes wife was Louise and later Mildred...Hawkeye started out having two parents and a sister; later, hes an only child with a widowed Dad...the most amazing case is Margaret whos once dead parents suddenly were both brought back to life ( but seperated )!

Margaret also had a sister that was mentioned once (Bulletin Board - season 3) and never mentioned again.
In "The Gun" (season 4) Radar mentions a sister that was never mentioned again too.

Hmmm. Lots of forgotten siblings among the staff of the 4077th.
