Shouldn't this be on the general board? :)

I know they air:

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Touched by an Angel, the Waltons, M*A*S*H, Northern Exposure, Magnum PI, Little House on the Prarie, Matlock, Perry Mason, Bonanza, the occassional tv movie.

:)

Well i wasn;t sure. I thought if this post was on the general tv board it would be moved to chit chat. But from the shows you listed, i'm not looking forward to receiving this channel.

It's a great channel, but if you're not into these types of shows, then I guess it won't be for you :)

Yes. M*A*S*H can't possibly compare with the hilarity that is That's My Mama.

When you say close, do you mean South Jersey, Delaware, or PA?

Hmmm I dont know if we're considered Central or Southern Jersey. We're only like 10-15 minutes away from the beach, though.

But my friend lives in South jersey and gets basically the same channels as me.

I've heard that they air all of their shows unedited.

If you're looking for good quality shows, you are a couple of years too late. When I first got it full-time in December of 2002 (see below), I was stoked but almost all the greatest shows they had were gone. The channel was better in its Odyssey days. They had great shows like Happy Days, Fraggle Rock, ALF, The Muppet Show, Rescue 911, My Three Sons, and other great shows. When it became the Hallmark Channel, they added Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. I did get it but I only got it in the mornings, Midnight to 9 AM on weekdays and Midnight to Noon on weekend days. Didn't get to watch a lot of their programming except on Saturdays.

In my opinion, the Hallmark Channel has become yet another Nick @ Nite.

What channel did it used to be

I think it's a great channel, they're airing classic shows, what more can we ask for? The list of shows I posted are old shows, they're classics. :)

I think they'll still do, I think the later airing of M*A*S*H are unedited. I think that's all that's unedited :)

I have Hallmark Channel(it got added back in May, but I've had it on and off for 2 or 3 years).

Here's my opinion(yours may be different if you like the shows they air)

I haven't watched more than 10 seconds of it since it was added in May. ;)

It's Channel 31 here.

Hallmark channel sucks. They play nothing that interests me. However in the past they've played my favorite shows like FOL and all that Brian mentioned.

I love Hallmark. Where else am I going to get my daily dose of MASH, Little House On The Prairie, and Magnum P.I.?

Of course, I would love it more if they still showed MASH uncut like they did when they first got it.
Oh yeah, and if they still showed ALF. Can't forget him!:D
