I've been recording the marathon all weekend in the SP speed for best quality. It's gonna take 22 tapes. I'm wondering if there are others who went the same "SP" route... I've recorded other marathons in SLP and have regretted it.

If you did it SLP it would take 8 6hour tapes or 6 8hour tapes but since I only recorded what I wanted it's only gonna take 5 tapes

Hey guys, speaking of taping, did anyone tape Happy Birthday Drummond? See, I only planned on taping the ones I wanted (bulimia, hitchikers, etc.), and I already taped most of the eps. that were already shown on N@N. Can anyone help me out? That was a cool ep. and I didn't realize till after I watched it. I'm so stupid, I should have taped it. Can anyone send me a copy?

I tried to tape every episode, but I couldn't switch the tapes fast enough sometimes. I think I missed #157:Carmella Meets the Gooch and #25:Arnold meets Muhammad Ali

I needed about 24 episodes from this marathon (got the rest from NAN). I wanted to go the SP route, but my goal is to get the whole series and can you imagine how many tapes that would require?! Not worth it. So, as a compromise, I have been recording my favorite episodes in SP (Bicycle Man, Hitchhikers, Sam's Missing, Bulimia, and Cheers to Arnold). As far as all the eps I recorded in EP mode, the quality is good enough and my hope is that someday they will make an affordable DVD burner and I can transfer everything to DVD.

I have taped only 5 episodes from the show. I taped a whole mess of them in SP when they aired them on WPWR-TV in my area. They showed all the episodes. I taped some off of Nick at Nite that I missed from WPWR. I taped some earlier ones off of TVLAND when I was asleep during the other airings from WPWR. What I am saying is that WPWR-TV in Chicago doesn't ever skip over the "Controversial Episodes"

I don't have TV Land so I am having someone tape it for me.

I'm in the same situation as you Thomas E, I've had it taped and I can't wait for my tapes to arrive!

I taped everything except the last half of Happy Birthday Mr. Drummond and that annoyed me because I thought I had rewinded the whole tape before I recorder but I hadn't. What also annoyed me was that I have Digital Cable and it said in the guide that the marathon started taping at 5 Saturday Morning but it actually started as 6 so I ended up taping a show I didn't want to tape, uggh!!! Oh well at least I got all of the eps.

I ended up staying all night watching the marathon, I even watched the paid programing and I didn't get any sleep. Well, at least I was able to stay awake to tape bulimia without the comercials. I even set my alarm just in case. Geez....now I feel real drowsy. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/sleep2.gif

Is there anyone out there willing to make me a copy of Happy Birthday Drummond? I wish there was a TV Land 2 or east, west, it would make things a lot easier.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

I Missed Seven Episodes:

"Count Your Blessings"
"Little Mother" ( http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif)
"First Love"
"Roots"
"Room For One More"
"The Wedding" Part One
"The Wedding" Part Two

I Got 83 Episodes + The Halloween One, Which is 84, and then I plan to tape those two Thanksgiving "Hello Larry" Crossover Episodes TV Land Will Be Playing, Which Is 86, which is.......A LOT! LOL I Didn't Notice That!

And To Those Who Don't Have TV Land: I Feel Sorry For U! I Hope Nick picks this up again and shows the controversial episodes, plus airing them all the way through, not just through the first 100!
