D-Dey 07-21-2004, 07:04 PM Well, guess what -- the chances of seeing Daria on DVD are IMPROVING!!! http://www.the-wildone.com/dvdaria/ (http://DVDaria Petition) has really good news for July 20, 2004!
:happyface :D
LucyCompanyPhan 07-21-2004, 11:45 PM Daria on dvd would be awesome. Maybe MTV shound rerun that instead of showing The Real World so much.

there ought to be:
The Smurfs (Longest-running cartoon of the 1980's)
More Scooby-Doo shows (the later Scooby Doo years, and with Scrappy-Doo)
More seasons of The Jetsons (there was the only season 1962-1963, but they also made some new episodes in the 1980's, so they should release those as well)
The rest of the Flintstones episodes
Yes, Recess
Weekenders
X-Men
Pepper Ann
Popeye (the 1930's cartoons and onward)
More Garfield
Muppet Babies
More Looney Tunes
Ducktales
Fat Albert (the movie's coming out soon)

really people....have you all forgotten about the schmeimer/prescott cartoons for FILMATION ?? like:
STAR TREK: the animated series

tarzan, lord of the jungle/BAT MAN
fat albert
the young sentinals/the space sentinals
web woman
and also the great live action shows like:
SHAZAM!

my luck, they will ignore these great shows and give us the "brady kids" and the "gilligan's island" cartoons instead.
Although it is a "cartoon" in the loosest sense, I would love to see "Dr. Katz - Professional Therapist" on DVD.
I would also love to see "The Tick" finally make it to DVD.
i thought "the tick" came out in recent months.

The short lived live action version of the show is now on DVD. The animated series, for some reason, has not been released. I think I read somewhere that there are some kind of legal prblems involved.

Hmmmmmm, none of the above! :p
Again, I will bring up the fact that "The Tick" the brilliant animated series that originated on FOX Saturday mornings (and ran on Comedy Central for a while) has yet to be released on DVD. It should. It's one of the funniest cartoons in the last 20 years.
And I hope Adult Swim's "Venture Brothers" is out soon too.

retarrdgrrl 07-28-2005, 10:20 PM RAINBOW BRITE
Southern Hellraiser 07-29-2005, 09:38 AM The Proud Family
The Rugrats (1991-1999) I dont like the new Rugrats episodes with Kimmy.
AaronHandy3 07-29-2005, 01:55 PM I prefer DVD releases of more mid-to-late 1970s H-B series, particularly my personal faves The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, The All-New SuperFriends Hour, and The New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show!
And if they don't release it in the original hour format, I'd gladly accept individual releases:
The Scooby-Doo Show (Seasons 1-3)*
Dynomutt Dog Wonder (Seasons 1 & 2)*
The (New) Tom & Jerry Show (complete series)
The Great Grape Ape Show (complete series)
*I'd also settle for a Scooby-Doo Meets Dynomutt compilation (3 episodes of Dynomutt guest starring Scooby and the gang, framed inbetween original Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour bridging sequences!).

Regulus 08-14-2011, 10:07 PM If someone announced that Ken Snyder's 1969 Hot Wheels and Skyhawks were available on DVD my decision to purchase them would be faster than Skynet's decision to terminate humanity!
MrCleveland 08-15-2011, 04:42 PM I dunno...
Many Cartoons I like are on DVD...except...Loopy de Loop.
Since there's 48 Loopy de Loop Cartoons, they can be divided in 2 discs with 24 cartoons.
TVQuack 10-21-2014, 09:02 AM Snorks is getting a complete release! :)
