does anyone no any performers that actually sound better live?
I think Alicia Keys sounds better live but they don't really do alot of work to her voice to begin with
I think JoJo sounds great live...her voice sounds alot more powerful
any Motown artists--nuff said ? lol

I think Paul McCartney actually sounds better live. The song Lonely Road sounds bland on the Driving Rain album, but sounds great on the Back in the U.S. Live 2002 album.
Don't be fooled, Crystals. They used pro-tools to sweeten his voice on the Back In The U.S. album. They also edited numerous performances together to sound like one run-through (notice how the liners don't give specific performance dates?).

India Arie. She sounds just as good live as she does on CD.

Honestly, I think every band/singer I've ever seen sound better live. Evanescence, Something Corporate, Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson....The only exception would be Avril Lavigne.
