Did anybody actually like Harry? I'm glad he was only in a few episodes - it didn't take long for him to start getting on my nerves. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he stopped appearing after the first couple of seasons, right?

I kind of liked Harry. I don't know why, maybe because of the stupid things he did that would actually trick people. I'm glad he wasn't around much though, he wouldn't have made a very good regular. I think he appeared in a Barwars episode in one of the later seasons, The Naked Prey or something.

In the first few seasons (especially Season 1), nearly every character that appeared on the show had the depth to be a regular part of the cast.

Harry The Hat
Andy Andy
Dave Richards (Fred Dryer)
Kevin (the guy who was going to become a priest)
Marshall Lipton (the guy Carla suckered into thinking he was the father of her baby)


Harry The Hat was a perfect character, IMO.
I wouldve enjoyed him as a regular part of the cast.

I would have really loved it if Dave and Kevin had been regulars.

I liked Andy a lot, he reminds me of myself:crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

With a setting like a bar, they couldve easily had a cast of 10, maybe even 15 characters.

I, personally, love Harry The Hat.

He stopped appearing once Harry Anderson got his own show (Night Court started out as a midseason replacement in 1984), but as Barwars stated, he showed up again in seasons six and eleven.

"Pick A Con, Any Con" is one of my all-time favorite episodes.

Yeah, as my latest fanfictions try to show, Andy Andy had enormous potential to be a regular.

Remember that episode where Andy Andy comes back to the bar years later looking for her but Sam says "She doesn't work here anymore Andy" Then he says Oh ok... & leaves. Shelly was long gone by then.
