Why can't you edit your own polls?
How come only moderators can?

If a person could edit their own poll, they could manipulate it so that they can take votes off and stuff like that. It's probably also how the software is set up. If you make a mistake in a poll, you could always PM a mod or admin and they'll be happy to do it for you.
