Don't know if this has already been posted but John Ritter will unfortunately not host the marathon! The cast of Survivor will. Why? I have no clue! John Ritter would be the obvious choice for hosting duties.

I know! John Ritter is probably the best host of all time. And the best physical comedian of all time, he would have been a great host! Originally back in May they announced he was going to be the host, Nick at Nite seems to be making a lot of last minute changes these days.
But I have heard he will be a part of this marathon, maybe his job right now on Broadways in the hit "The Dinner Party" is why he can't host it...anyway he will be in the marathon but not the host...Survivor cast will be doing that duty...Atlleast the show is on again!

I agree with everything you just said! That's still good he'll be around for the marathon, though.
