I'm also surprised they never had a Frasier/Wings crossover in the mid 90s.

They were both made by the same people, same companies, and aired on the same network.

They already existed in the same universe.

While flying to visit Frederick, Frasier is on a plane piloted by either Joe or Brian and when there's engine trouble, he has to council the rest of the passengers.

I'm surprised that Friends and Will & Grace never crossed over. I mean, there were on the same network, on the same night and set in the same city. I don't understand why NBC never thought of that one, especially during the last two season when both were relatively struggling in the ratings.

Also never understood why there weren't more Golden Girls/Empty Nest/Nurses Cross-overs... The Golden Girls could have crossed over to Nurses... they were old surley they'd have medical issues that make them meet the Nurses!

The Golden Girls/Designing Women- WHAT A HOOT!

In Soap Opera Land-

I'd like to see a General Hospital/One Life To Live crossover! Maybe Vikis heart could reject and she is rushed to New Yorks General Hospital in Port charles where she meets Dr. Alan Quatermaine but he's married so Viki has an internal battle, do the right thing and let the love go away OR have a torrid affair. Viki for once in her life follows her passion and starts to persue Dr. Alan Quatermaine. Alan a good guy doesn't want to hurt Viki so he tries to let her down gently. But Viki having been under a great deal of stress can't handel it and her personalities break and Niki Smith emerges. Niki wants nothing more than a good time so she breaks out of the hospital and finds herself at Lukes nightclub, she has a few drinks and ends up in bed with Luke himself who is distraught that Skye is in prison. The wild night sends Niki into cardiac arresst and shes rushed to the hospital, where Alan is able to save her. Niki awakes from surgery and also falls for Alan, she persues him relentlessly and he finanlly gives in. He goes at it with Niki and loves it. He tells Niki he is in love with her and plans to leave Monica for her. just imagine the DRAMA that would erupt and the crossovers that could insue. Jessica, Natalie and Kevin could come to PC to find VIki when Kevin hires a PI to find her. They will flip out to find that Viki is now Niki! and Skye could be released from Prison and find Niki and freak out (Robin Christopher used to play skye on OLTL) and she could call old friend/enemy Todd Manning and tell him Viki is in Port charles. he can fly to PC and try to convince Niki to come back to Lanview. Alan fearing his new love is slipping away from him can turn crazy and do crazy things to keep her. Also Niki and Heather Webber could become friends and work together to get Alans fourtune and Heahter finding out how Vicotira Lord is could try to get Vikis money. She could try to take over Vikis life! it'd be great!

1) A TV movie (or 1-hour episode) featuring the Addams Family and the Munsters meeting for the first time.

2) Jeannie crossing over to Bewitched AND Samantha crossing over to I Dream of Jeannie.

3) Three's Company clashing with Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley (they all aired on the same network, during the same night: one right after the other).

4) A crossover between The Andy Griffith Show and The Lucy Show (both aired on the same network on Monday Nights).

5) Desi Arnaz guest starring as himself or as Ricky Ricardo during one of the early years of Here's Lucy.

6) A crossover episode of Fred Sanford meeting George Jefferson.

7) Flipper crossing over to Gilligan's Island.

8) A crossover episode of Mork from Ork making a guest appearance on ALF.

9) The Beaver crossing over to Dennis the Menace.

I wish there was a Taxi/Barney Miller crossover, since they both aired the same night, on the same network (ABC-except for the last season of "Taxi" which aired on NBC).

And, I wish, on "Frasier" sometime, they would have showed him visiting Cheers again. I wonder why they didn't, since Lilith still lived in Boston and he went back a couple times to see her & Frederick.
I wonder why they never had that, since they had various "Cheers" cast members guest at one time or another. (exept Kirstie Alley who wouldn't do it because she's into scienetology, and doesn't belive in physiciatry-which is a silly reason not to do a TV show, if you ask me. Also, she doesn't belevieve in reviving a character)

THree's Company could not crossover with Happy Days and L&S because both of those shows was in a different time period. TC was the 70's, HD and L&S was the late 50's

The Brady Bunch meet The Partridge Family

An I Dream of Jeannie/Bewitched crossover would have been great!

I wished they had a Barney Miller, Welcome Back, Kotter crossover, since they already have a promotional photo with the sweathogs in the precinct's jail cell. They should have just shot an episode like that.

I know they aired in different decades but a Punky Brewster/Blossom crossover would have been great.

Also an Ally McBeal/Chicago Hope crossover would have been great.

This isn't a crossover but wouldn't it have been great if Caroll O'Connor was still alive and could voice a horse on the new (possible) Mr. Ed remake. I mean, Sherman Helmsley is voicing Mr. Ed so, if Caroll was still alive, this would be some great TV. He'd be a rival (white, of course) horse who Mr. Ed (black horse) fights with. I hope they do go ahead with the "Mr. Ed" remake though.

years ago, I think it was in 1968, ABC was showing reruns of "Bewitched" in the mornings, and later they started rerunning "That Girl" right after it.
I remember, they announced it by having an announcer say"Look who's moving next door to the Stevens! It's "That Girl"!
I was 11 years old at the time, and I thought they meant that Ann Marie from "That Girl" was moving next door to Samantha & Darrin!:lol:

A Picket Fences / Chicago Hope crossover occured in Hope's first season.

In the Picket Fences Episode "Rebels with Causes" (3-7) Wambaugh and Jill travel to Chicago to visit Heart Specialist Dr Geiger.

Wambaugh later turned up in the Chicago Hope episode "Small Sacrifices" which is probably my favourite episode where a man bites another man's finger off and swallows it during a hockey match, they retreive the finger from the guy's stomach only to find that it belonged to yet another guy (crazy stuff)!

Wambaugh turns up with a guy who had been on previously having inhaled amil nitrate (a sort of prehistoric viagra) and having gone through several complications as a result, He came to sue the hospital and part of the episode was a face off between Wambaugh and Hirsch

More interesting than that was a bizzare cross-network crossover between Picket Fences and The X Files which was abandoned due to nervous CBS execs.

The episodes still aired but without the cast members or references from each others shows.

Here's how it would've worked, people would've watched The X Files Friday @ 9 for the episode "Red Museum" where Mulder was investigating a rural religious cult, following that the episode would lead him to Rome, Wis @ 10 for the Picket Fences ep "Away in the Manger" which had an FBI agent (the Mulder role went to Sam "Mr Gorpley" Anderson) investigating Cow's being injected with Alien DNA which turns out to be false but the truth was far stranger - the cows were being used in human fertility experiments!

In that show's 2nd season episode Red Museum, Mulder and Scully investigate a case of cows apparently being injected with alien DNA. The plan was for David Duchovny to appear in this episode of PF when it looked like there had been another occurrence of the cows-alien DNA case in Rome. However, CBS execs nixed the idea because X Files aired on FOX and Kelley had to rewrite the script. During the episode, Carter still mentions the events of The X Files, with Sam Anderson's FBI agent arriving to investigate, instead of Mulder. X Files creator Chris Carter comments that "I like to think the crossover still happened, it's just that our characters didn't appear."

it would've been great if one of the Star Trek movies and shows "crossed over"!
I know they've done that in some of the books. For instance, there was one series of books which dealt with the Klingons (the "bad boys" of the galaxy for all you non-trekys out there!) which started during the original series era, and ended in the Next Generation/Deep Space 9/Voyager era.

This might not be possible, but a crossover between the Arnold family from The Wonder Years and the Brady family from The Brady Bunch would be awesome. The timeframes of the shows were 1968-73 and 1969-74, even though one of them was made twenty years after. Then again, Marcia Brady was mentioned on two different episodes of TWY. :rolleyes:

I had no idea. i didn't watch either show very often i just knew that they seemed very similar in vein and since David E. Kelly was attached to both it seemed possible.

Thats intresting about Fences/X-files because just a few years later The Practice and Ally McBeal did a cross-over episode.
