certain scenes were deleted from certain eps? Would that be more important to you than Quality?

I would not spend one dime if i found out there are edited eps. Which is why i wait for S.O. members to buy the DVD first.

Nope I wouldn't buy if it was edited. I was gonna buy all the Saved by the Bell seasons that were out until I found out they're edited.

It's not worth the money if they're edited, when you can watch in edited on tv

If I bought it then found out it was edited, I'd take it back.

Well i don;t think you would get your money back but i see what you are saying. You would not be owning the full history of your favorite tv show.

If the show were not currently airing on TV.... yes.

If it were on TV daily.... probably not.

Although, I do own some DVDs that are edited, sadly.

Oh believe me I'd get my money back :D

I don't understandy why TVSHOW DVDs are edited to begin with? That seems like the consumer isn't getting what they're paying for  :(

You never get a refund for a returned DVD or CD because they can't put it back on the shelf. You could only exchange for something else.

it depends, if it's a show that is no longer airing ANYWHERE and no signs of N@N/TV-Land in the near-future, yes. But if it was a show like Roseanne or something that I can watch every single night, doubtful unless I found it for really cheap, like under $20

I know, but I've gotten my money back for CD's before, I've written to companies and they've refunded my money :D

I'd probably end up exchanging it, if there was a DVD out that I liked.

 Actually you should be able to send them the CD with a copy of your receipt and tell them why you're not satisfied with it.

I've only done it once, the CD was defective and I'd exchanged it twice, and figured might as well send it back to the company. :)

Just return it and get store credit.
Chances are there's SOMETHING else you want to buy.

TVDVD's should have the unedited episodes. At least 95% of the time they are. Sanford and Son season 2 has an edited episode. I can live with that cause it's only 1 episode plus I have the missing scene on tape. I would still but my favorite tv shows on dvd if they were edited as long as it wasn't more than a few eps.
