I want to pick up the first season on dvd, But I heard that it was in Black & white, is this true?

The first season was filmed in black and white.

I wouldn't have bought it if it was colorized. We can do without Ted Turner's interpretation of classic shows and movies. Season 2 and 3 were made in color.
