I was out with my friends today and we were talking about all old toys from the 80's. Well, first we mentioned Popples and then my friend thought we were talking about another toy. I don't know the name of it but they were stuffed animals that had these plastic bubbles or balls in their stomachs that you could slide open and then keep candy or whatever in their stomachs. When she mentioned that I totally remembered what she was talking about, but couldn't remember the name of the toy. Maybe it really didn't have a name, but does anyone else remember these??

No, that's not it. I know what viewmasters are. I had those. Maybe the toy I'm thinking of didn't have a name. It definitely wasn't a viewmaster, I know that.

Viewmasters were awesome though!

Does anyone know what this toy was called.. it was a ball thing, i think they were all yellow, with different colored rubber spikey things on it... and when you turn it on it starts shaking. yeah.

Were they by any chance a Care Bear related toy?

No, I don't think so. I just know it was some stuffed animals with a plastic ball/bubble in the stomach to keep things in! Maybe it wasn't from the 80's, maybe it was earlier or later than that decade.

No, that's not it either! Geez, how many toys did that have in the 80's that you could keep stuff in?! LOL! Yeah, I thought you were right but once I saw the picture of "Keepers" that wasn't it. This was like an animal sitting upright (like a Teddy Ruxpin) that had a plastic ball in the front of the stomach. Maybe I'm just going crazy.....

There WERE different versions of keepers, you know. I don't know what it could be, honestly.

There's no picture of this one. It has the locked hiding place for candy and stuff but it's a dog, not a bear.
