In the new Will Smith action flick "I, Robot", the security system that controls all the robots and the U.S. Robotics headquarters is named VIKI. While I don't have confirmation on this, it sure seems like a Small Wonder reference to me. Anyone agree? I sure got a kick out of it. :p

On the show, VICI stood for Voice Input Child Indenticate. I wonder what the VIKI in I, Robot stands for. :) I also find that shockingly coincidental.

I noticed that... but I bet it's a coincidence. Sadly, not many people even remember "Small Wonder."

Eh, you never know. The producers of Family Guy remember it, as they discuss it briefly on a DVD episode commentary. (I'm still waiting for FG to reference SM, maybe in the new season) Most of my friends remember the show...the ones that don't always think I'm talking about Out of this World. :-p

I think I read somewhere that Small Wonder was one of the inspirations for the movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence. Not 100% positive about that, tho.
