I didn't know dogs could live that long, either. I always thought the average lifespan of both dogs and cats were around 15 to 20 years. I hope that dog lives to be 30. Still, 27 years old is really impressive.

I thought the same...I hope he pushes on to 28, it wld be nice for him to set a record

One of my uncles had a cat that lived to be 17-18 years old. :D

Wow, 27 years old for a dog is pretty impressive! :eek:

I just thought of something...that dog was born during the last season of "The Carol Burnett Show". :lol:

My aunt's Yorkie lived to be 18 years old it just died a couple months ago. She wasn't supposed to live past a few months.
