So Idol is going to raise the age limit to 28 rather than 26,which means ..................I still won't be trying out because I sound like a dying dog . Actually, I think it's a good idea because there so many kids who are doing well on Idol that I think that some older contestants deserve a chance to compete also . I'm mean is 28 really supposed to be old???

o0o yea I heard about that on ET. I think theyre doing it because Simon doesnt like 16 year olds doing it- thinks theyre too young, so I think this way theyd have a better chance of getting an older top 12.

o0o0 so 16 year olds are still allowed?

I hated how he thought they were too young and stuff. The teenagers this year were great (John, Diana, Jasmine, Camile). And they're fun to watch, as it's easier for me, since I'm a teenager to connect.

But hmm 28. That's some news I haven't heard yet. That's cool though.

Yup

Do you like to hear talented adults sing (over 16), or talented kids sing better?
I can't decide.

I can't decide. I dont mind. My top 2 of AI3 were an adult singer ( JPL) and a 16 year old ( Diana)

I can't decide. It's all about the voice, but I have noticed that the younger talents seem to be more exciting to watch and track. Last year, even though Josh, Kimberley, Ruben, and Trenyce were all great talents, they weren't exactly wonderfully exciting to watch at times. Maybe it was because they were more serious or something, i'm not sure, but i like it when they have fun (Diana) rather than when they focus too hard, and make it looked too polished, which comes off as boring sometimes (LaToya).

Well I'll be 26 November7th but im still not trying out......I didn't like how they thought the teens were too young.....I mean when Simon Criticized Diana and John they took it like adults and didn't cry or make a scene where to as some adults still whine a year later about the criticism.....

Im glad it was raised but I'm not trying out Me and Simon will not get along.....Mel :) :D
