Has anybody ever seen the movie "The Sure Thing" before? I have it is really funny. I really like that movie alot. If you haven't seen it, i think you really should. Does anybody elese like that movie? and if you do what do you like about it?

Yeah i think that this is a really funny movie. I really like it alot. I love the part were the girl goes in the truck with that guy who is dressed like a cowboy and John Cusack goes into the truck and says "You know your not supposed to pick up hitchikers don't you" "Because i could be a total maniac". That is so funny. And the part were he falls into the pool. He is such a funny actor. What other movies do you like with him? I think Better off dead was funny isn't that the movie were he is skiiing or something yeah i think thats the one. and the french student is next door with this kid named Ricky i think it's a good movie but kind of strange but i agree it is funny. The part with the dancing hamburgers was strange though. And that paper boy kid is chasing him with his bicycle looking for 2 dollars or something. Yeah sorry for the long post i just felt like going on about this.

Hey! My favourite movie. Well joint favourite.

Funnily enough my sister was on holiday in the USA, and she brought me a copy home, only problem it’s a region 1 DVD, so it will not work with my existing player. Does work on the computer though, and some fantastic behind the scenes footage. I had an old vhs copy, but I have played it so often the tape is on it’s last legs.

John Cusack made a few other 80’s teen movies, although I consider ‘The Sure Thing’ as being timeless. Some of the other movies are, Better Off Dead, One Crazy Summer, Hot Pursuit, Say Anything.
