Could someone please give me more details on what "Paid Programming" is on TV LAND?

Does it mean you pay extra for more Diffrent Strokes between 2am and 4am this weekend or is it another programme?

Paid Programming is when advertisers get someone to endorse their 30minute patened idea or product. ie, The George Foreman Grill, Suzanne Sommers' thighmaster, diet pills, Richard Simmons' workout tapes, the Ab roller and other things like that.
