"With You" by Jessica Simpson. I am not a huge fan of hers and that is the only song I like of hers. But most of my friends are like "ewwww! you like that song?"

songs regarded as "cheese" by most that I'd crank up if nobody's around

The Sign - Ace Of Base
How Am I Supposed To Live Without You - Michael Bolton
Maniac - Michael Sembello
Around The World - ATC
Blue - Eiffel 65
pretty much anything by Olivia Newton-John
pretty much anything by Abba
pretty much anything by Sheena Easton
pretty much anything produced by Giorgio Moroder

Pretty much Metallica's whole album St. Anger. A lot of people think it sucks because it sounds so different from their old stuff (ride the lightning, master of puppets etc) and lars overuses the snare drum and makes it sound like he's hitting a trash can. well he does but i think it actually improves the sound especially in "St. anger". I love the song "Sweet amber" although it's one of the least popular on the album. i don't know why, it has a kick ass riff and bass line. Also their Load and Reload albums. It's when they started "selling out" because they changed their sound and cut their hair. waaah, they're supposed to be the same all 20+ years of their career. hey everyone lars switched laundry detergent brands, that evil sellout.

Thanks. Mind you, I'm just familiar with the singles. I have their greatest hits collection, forgot about "Send Her My Love" that's another one of my favorites. Plus Steve's solo stuff, I love "Foolish Heart". And "Oh Sherrie" is pure classic 80's pop.

Vashti1999, I know that Prince is God, but Steve Perry is "The Voice." And the intersting thing about Steve is that his influence was Sam Cooke, and if you listen he sounds like Sam Cooke sometimes when he sings.

"Send Her My Love" is one of my favorites that he sing, I have all of his solo stuff, the only thing I regret is never seeing Journey or Steve Perry perform live. That's why I was so happy for you seeing Prince.

I could go on and on about Steve Perry so I think I will stop before I bore everyone.

While we are speaking of Journey, I have to say a song I like that I never hear anyone ever mention is "Girl Can't Help It"

I know its no great tune, but I like it.

That is a great song, it's from their "Raised On Radio" CD.

Like I said I could go on and on about Journey.
