When I was a kid my father worked in program development at CBS. Occasionally he would bring home a projector and "test" a pilot on us kids.

I have a distinct memory of one called "Double Trouble" with (I thought) Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tylor Moore and using the same "home" set as "The Dick Van Dyke Show" but the premise was about a couple with twins.

I was only about five at the time so this memory could be very confused.

Has anyone ever heard of this pilot?

The original pilot of The Dick Van Dyke Show was called Head of the Family, and it didn't even star Dick Van Dyke. But I have heard Dick mention that "Double Trouble" was a title considered for The Dick Van Dyke Show.
