View Full Version : 70's sitcom you most want on dvd
vashti1999 07-14-2004, 11:47 PM This poll consists of the 10 most popular 70's sitcoms here on Sitcoms Online based solely on the total number of posts on their respective boards, as of July 14, 2004 and these are also shows that haven't yet been released on dvd, nor announced. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to vote for the one 70's sitcom out of these choices that you most want on dvd. You can discuss more than one in your post if you like, but make sure to cast a vote for one in the poll.
Alice
Brady Bunch
Courtship of Eddie's Father
The Love Boat
Maude
One Day at a Time
Rhoda
The Ropers
Welcome Back, Kotter
WKRP in Cincinnati
EmoJoe 07-14-2004, 11:56 PM Brady Bunch is what I chose. Id buy it.
dandelion wine 07-15-2004, 12:00 AM The Courtship of Eddie's Father! Bill Bixby - need I say more?
vashti1999 07-15-2004, 12:03 AM I'd want Brady Bunch, Courtship, Alice, Love Boat and the Ropers. However, my top two are One Day At a Time and Welcome Back Kotter. If I narrow it down, my vote goes to WBK.
dandelion wine 07-15-2004, 12:07 AM Oops, forgot to include my vote in the poll.
One Day at a Time would be a must, including WKRP, Rhoda, Alice and Welcome Back, Kotter.
Brian 07-15-2004, 12:28 AM The Courtship of Eddie's Father
Maude
Welcome Back, Kotter
Out of those three I would choose The Courtship of Eddie's Father because I have never seen it and it is a show rarely seen on TV nowadays. I can watch Welcome Back, Kotter uncut on the Goodlife Network.
Dr. Jazz 07-15-2004, 12:36 AM No Phyllis? ;)
I would definately get WKRP if it comes to DVD.

I'd buy those 3 in a heartbeat.
PZelda 07-15-2004, 10:24 AM Oh good lord. I've got to stop having guilty pleasures. I confess - I'm in LOVE with The Brady Bunch, and have been since I was in 9th/10th grade. So, it'd ROCK to see that on DVD. (That was what I voted for :D) Maude and WKRP in Cincinnati would be awesome, as well. :D
barwars 07-15-2004, 04:35 PM I voted The Brady Bunch, but will buy them all.
spunkygirl 07-15-2004, 05:05 PM The Brady Bunch
TVFactFan 07-15-2004, 08:36 PM I still waiting for these two 70's shows to come on DVD
That's My Mama
Grady
Maude
Adamantium 07-15-2004, 09:26 PM Chico and the Man should be on the list. That message board has way more posts than most of those you mentioned. It would also be the one I'd pick. However, of those on the list, I choose "One Day at a Time."
Lady T 07-15-2004, 11:19 PM Except for the Brady Bunch, I want all the shows listed to be released on DVD...
