"Pink Pills and Purple Parents" Did anyone see this a few days ago? I think this is one of my favorite episodes! This episode shows that Mary Tyler Moore can pull off just as much physical comedy as Dick Van Dyke. They are equally funny, though.

LoL, it's one of my favorites, too. I love when Laura goes under the table to get her spoon and Rob goes in after her. In my book it says the title is "Pink Pills for Purple Patients" but i guess it's a typo because everyone else says it's Parents.

This may be a guy thing, but I also
think that's Mary's sexiest performance ever. It's the only time Laura ever loosened up enough to ever hint at a genuine physical relationship with Rob. The way she hugged him and said "isn't he the cutest thing" seemed very private and appealing. (Wish she didn't have to be stoned to be that way.) And the way she rolled her eyes up while sliding under the table was like... ah, well, it was...sexual. And the
quick "no!" from Rob's mother when asked if she'd like to see the bedroom said more than the two-bed
set up ever did. Like I said,
this may be a guy thing, but I bet
Carl and Dick noticed when they did the episode. It was just fun to see that for once. And it was a fantastic performance by Mary. Lots of great moments in that episode.
Funny stuff.

I don't get TV Land, but I'm familiar with "Pink Pills and Purple Parents" and it's definitely a good episode! Not my all time fave, but a good episode. Laura's line, "One for moo-moo!" is just priceless! LOL
