A few nights I fell asleep on the reclining watching Cheer's & woke up ( or so I thought) in Cheers . I woke up in Sam's office & I came out and said "Hey Shelly" because I thought this was real life so she would be an actor you know. She said " Hey little man my name is DIANE CHAMBERS , not Shelly get it through a little head....uggghhh" Some other stuff happened like I was talking to Cliff. Then all of the sudden I woke up(for real this time) with my drink on my lap. I was like what the hell!! :confused:

you might be obsessed with Cheers. I've been watching this show since 1982-83 and have never had a dream yet.....YET. lol

I've had weird dreams about Cheers, and a few more about meeting Kirstie Alley... they're all just strange.

Ive had one dream about Cheers (that I recall)

It was about 2 years ago.... I wasn't even a big fan yet.
But I remember being ina stuido audience watching a taping of Frasier (long before I had even really watched it) and seeing Kelsey Grammar talking to the cast of Frasier as he opens these 2 really big wooden doors, and reveals the Cheers set, only -- its entirely redone in a lighter wood.

After that its all a blur -- but thats as obsessed as Ive gotten.... long before the "obsession" even began.

Oh goodness, I've had my fair share myself.

But the one that really sticks out is a few years ago..also, long before the obsession even started.

Myself and the Cheers gang (minus the Drs Crane and Rebecca) found ourselves stranded on an island. And of course, Diane and I were the only ones that wanted to get off. Norm was happy because there was beer, Sam had a few random women, Cliff had a Florida-ish atmosphere, and Carla was away from her kids. Diane and I eventually built ourselves a raft out of straws and managed to get back to Boston..

Haha - you don't want to get into my Cheers and yes, Frasier dreams - mine are beyond strange due to my over-active imagination and constant flare for detail!

And Barwars, noticing that the bar was done in a "lighter wood" sounds oddly like something Niles would notice!

I've had a few Cheers dreams. But I don't remember them anymore. I do remember hearing an audience laughing throughout it, though.


I lie. I do remember one with Cliff...where he stops wearing his uniform after he retires. It's then that everyone discovers that Cliff's fashion sense is worse than anything they could have imagined. During the episode, the gang tries to get him to dress appropriately - but fail. So they end up convincing him to wear his uniform again.

Haha no, I'd say it's a good thing. It made me laugh, and that's what matters. I think I only thought of that because you said Niles is your favorite character in Frasier.

Actually, I prefer Martin. Although Niles is a close second.
But as I watch more, Frasier (the character) just gets funnier and funnier.

I remember a few wild dreams I had about Cliff Clavin. I think I'm the only one here who finds him sexy. It's the mustache, man!

*Shudders* It's hard to believe I had that two years before "Cheers Survivor." Had some pretty crazy ones during that time.

And, would Cliff EVER take off that uniform??

I had a dream that Diane and Rebecca were locked in this room together, and they started arguing about who was the better Cheers cast member. Then Rebecca pulled out a gun and shot Diane. :rotflmao:

Here's one of my favorite Cheers dreams...

I was fighting physically with Lilith - really kicking her butt, you know? (I have no idea what the fight was about) We were rolling on the ground, pulling each others hair, so I left Lilith lying there and ran off. There was a getaway car outside, so I got in. In the driver's seat was Shelley Long and beside her was our very own poster - Chambers! (Note: That was the second dream CHAMBERS was in) I said to CHAMBERS, "Is this your car?" It was a black car, and Chambers said, "No it's not." So I assumed it was Shelley's...

Well here's the story - not two days passed after that dream that my dad's car broke down and died, we went to a car dealership and my dad bought a BLACK 2005 Toyota Corolla - and that car was in my dream....spooky yes, but like Daphne, I am a bit psychic. (CHAMBERS can vouch for that, right?) I'm what the they call, "Precognitive" that means "Knowledge of something in advance of its occurrence, especially by extrasensory perception; clairvoyance." I'm also see things from the past, but that's rare.


Whoa! I let that little secret out, didn't I? (Daphne line - I guess that's why I relate to Daphne so much! hee hee!)

Yes, somehow Moondance figured out more or less what I looked like before I even posted any pictures of myself haha.

But I must say...poor Lilith. And you call yourself a Lilith fan...tsk tsk. Hehe. I'm glad I was of help in that getaway car, though.

I wish I knew why weird things seem to happen in my life the moment Lilith is involved! I seriously am a Lilith fan - I suppose she's just the darkside for me, haha!

Let me just say, I was DYING when I first read that! Like as in falling out of my chair kind of thing. Oh, and I just can't stop laughing. :rotflmao: I mean, we've all had kicking Cliff's butt dreams..but Lilith??

I had a dream about Cheers. It was the opening sequnence. Especially Bebe's pic!!

I had a Cheers dream about two weeks after my dad died in 2001. Cheers was his favorite show and we watched it together a lot. My dream was that I walked into the Cheers bar and I saw him at the bar having a drink.

That's all I really remember of the dream but I thought it was really sweet. My eyes were damp when I woke up.
