this is kind of a continuation of the 2005 being a great year for rock topic, but anyone with music being the way it is now, what artists that are currently getting airplay (in any genre) are actually decent and have good music...just wonderin what everyone thinks.

I think that some good artists getting airplay right now are:

Alicia Keys- Talented singer and musician...and even if you dont like her music you gotta give her some credit for doing something different

JoJo- I'm probably gonna get criticized for this one lol but I really think she's talented and "Leave (Get Out)" as well the rest of her album is a breathe of fresh air (for me anyway)

Kanye West- Well probably no one else here likes him, but his lyrics are pretty strong and I respect him for that

Usher- Waaaaaaay overplayed, but I think he has a great voice but not always the best attitude

well thats about it for me but what about everyone else, if this topic even makes sense

At least Alicia writes her own songs and can play the piano damn good. I don't mind her.

As for the rest... :lol: no comment.

Outkast, Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 are about the only current things on the radio that doesn't make me wish to rip my eardrums out
