Is it just me or is there really in real life that there is a turf war between local and federal authorities??
I just watch an episode of Law & Order SVU where the NYPD battled the FBI, US Marshals, and US Attorney's Office and almost the police were arrested for interfering in the Marshals investigation.
But the feds didn't get cited for interfering in the Detectives investigation and only got a slap on the wrist.
Why does the feds do as it pleases and gets away with "murder" while the locals/state authorites are left out to dry??

Where is Rodney King when you need him??
Why can't we all just get along??

BTW, Here is my opinion on the most to least arrogant federal law enforcement agencies:
1. FBI(The Undisputed King!!)
2. DEA
3. Secret Service
4. ATF
5. IRS
6. INS
7. US Marshals
8. Customs

The CIA is #2, if not #1 on my list. They're just as arrogant as the FBI, if not more. Especially with this whole 9/11 thing going down.
