The other night I was watching ROCKY (YES AGAIN!) and it occured to me that the chemistry we see between Ed and Chico is similar to what you see between Rocky and Mickey. These characters are very much alike in many ways.....

Freddie ... down on his luck.... needs a job.... Meets Ed, meanie with a soft heart.

Rocky... also not so lucky in life in the beginning.... has Mickey in his life.... also a meanie...but loveable under it all...

and hey..in the end...we DID get to see Freddie in those boxers in the ring!

Wonder if Sly Stallone was a CATM fan?

Hmmmmm.......... Very interesting... I never thought of that. I bet Sly saw the show and liked it.

Who could not like Freddie as Chico. He had Charisma...... He also liked Jack's character Ed "All gruff like a bag of hot air........." :lol:

I never thought of that but it is true very simiiar and both are champs!!!
but Chico was more of a ladies man!:lol:
