Has anyone else noticed that Jerry's full name changes somewhere during the series? In "All About Evesdropping" Rob calls Jerry "Jerald" but in "Long Night's Journey Into Day" Jerry tells the telephone opperator that he is, "Dr. Jerome Helper". This is just another inaccuracy that I found in the series, but I've never heard this one talked about before.

I was fortunate enough to take an extended vacation this year. While looking back over the old posts I came across this one. Nice one, Chritina! I'm a die hard fan of the show, but I hadn't noticed this discrepancy. I'll watch for it.
It's not too often that I'm surprised by DVDS trivia. feels good.

I've known that mistake for awhile. I guess it falls into the pile with the Meeker/Meehan thing. ( Although there is a reason for that change)

Ooo! Nice observation. I too am a die hard fan and now that you say that I remember both those episodes and the names they used for him, but was never bright enough to put two and two together.

Thanks. I often see little things like this, but I've forgotten them by the time I come to post. I'm getting to the point where I've seen every episode enough to notice the little details.

In the episode "The Brave and the Backache", Millie tells Laura that Jerry heard someone on the subway mention that it could be psychosematic. If he works out of his home, then why would he be going to work ont he subway. I'm sure there's a good explanation.

Maybe he wasn't going to work.
