Do any of you here write anything- short stories, books, scripts, fan-fictions etc? The reason I'm asking is because I think it'd be great if we could have a Writer's Board here as well. If we have enoguh people writing/interested in writing etc- then maybe it could happen. So vote!

what kind of poetry do you write. any particular themes you like or anything? i love poetry. there is this fine arts magazine in my high school that has pictures people drew and poetry and stuff that is selected by the board of editors called equus that comes out two times during the year. fall and spring. i submitted 1 poem each time and they both got accepted. i was the first 7th grader ever to get anything into it. i'm like, oh-so famous now.

I write in my journal. Nothing else though. I'm more of a reader. Though being a good reader is something a good writer should master.

Loving you 'double negative' humor! I do that sometimes as well- though it could potentially get you killed!

Anyway, I'd like a writers board so writers can share their stories or ideas- and help each other. Writers could even start up serials-where they write and constantly add onto their story like some sort of soap-opera on paper! Maybe even an interactive story- those things usually end up messy and very funny- should be good.

I suppose if you enjoy reading you could read the things the writers are posting- so, whether you're a reader or a writer- voice your opinion on having a Writer's Board.

If you write too much you get writer's cramp:lol:

i write poetry about how much i hate the world and everyone in it. a writers board would be great.

I write in only one journal when I have something I really want to write about.

I also write hard rock songs for when I get signed later this year.

I love to write. My journal is probably where I write the most.

I don't write anything, but I probably should. :)

i write a lot of poetry, articles, short stories, and am working on a novella. if i had the time i'd definitely write fan fic as well.

yeah i'm working on my singing career i'm gonna start in a few years. not sure which genre though, something metal-based. i'm gonna release the poems i've written, they're mostly about depression/suicide, growing up in a community where everyone hates and betrays me, hating everything, having too many uncontrollable problems with myself, other bad experiences i've had.

Cool idea. I write novels...well, I want to anyway. Weird thing is though, I write them in movie script format first. I find that easier.

I don't read at all. Inspiration comes from the crapfest of a world we live in. Plus I've taken enough writing classes I know the technique.

Nope.. no particular theme. Just whatever I'm feeling at the moment, whatever my thoughts are.

I have written two semi-autobiographical screenplays based on my life experiences and one semi-biographical screenplay that is based on my dad's experiences of being a city bus driver. I also write songs. I've been writing songs off and on since I was about 12 or 13 years old about anything that comes to my head. First I try to think of a title and then I try to think of a tune in my head or listen to a song to get a feel of a beat and then write some lyrics. It usually only takes me about 20 minutes to half an hour to write a song. Most of the songs I would put in the rock and roll genre of music. I came across a song I wrote a few years ago today while cleaning up my room. And, I was amazed at what I read. The song was almost as good as some of my most recent writing. Once I tried to write a song in spanish. I'm not sure where it is now, though. Probably in the basement in a box full of papers or something. I also have written a few poems. I would love a writer's board. I'd like to share all the songs I have written.

Yep. I write a lot. I love writing. I write poems, songs, stories, fanfiction...I write in my journal too. So...yeah.

I keep a dream journal, also I keep a journal of all the local bands that I see; I am planning to write a book about the local entertainment in my area....

Yes, I write some fanfiction and poetry. When I do write fanfiction though I never finish the stories! I like to read other people's fanfic more though. I love reading the stories at fanfiction.net. I agree that a story board would be a cool idea for this site! Wait, don't we have a fanfiction board on here? Well, I guess that JUST fanfic and not stories from scratch.

I currently write fan fictions,I like the idea of A Writer's Board.
It will gives another way to pass time here at Sitcomsonline.

I write articles for my school newspaper, short-stories, poems, and have written fanfics (but haven't had time to finish). I think a writers board would be a really good idea. We could also talk about literature and good books that people have read.
