Were the first seasons episodes shot our of sequence? In the fist episode, Kimberly has braces, and they seem to come on and off, like in the episode where Mrs. Garrett wants to quit, she doesn't have them, but in "The Girl's School", she does. Can anyone explain?

Gee, I don't know. Maybe she had them taken out for a while and then she put them back on. Anyways, I always thought she looked cute with the braces and I also thought it was cute when Arnold called her "metal mouth".

That's hard to explain since The Girls' School was filmed after Mrs. Garrett's Crisis. They filmed The Girls' School on April 19, 1979. As Curtis said, she probably had them taken out and then put back on.

Wouldn't that be a lot of work? Then again, actors/actresses sometimes have to make a lot of sacrifices just for one ep.
