Guys,
God, this is the greatest show for jokes and one-line gags!
Who remembers Lawler the Installer? What did he install? Was it the telephone or the phone wiring that was SUPPOSED to come into the house? (But they didn't have enough wiring so the Hooterville Phone cmpany had to put the phone on the pole!)
Did Lawler the Installer put the phone in the house that we see in later seasons, or was that done by the Monroe brothers? That was the phone that they could never get the wiring connected for, right?
I think Lawler The Installer is only seen in one episode but is mentioned in two episodes! Once time, Oliver is talking to Mr. Drucker about getting the phone installed (I think) and Sam says something like, "Oh, you have to wait and talk to Lawler The Installer!"
