I was 20 in 1981. "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley," "Three's Company," "Chips," "Taxi," "The Dukes of Hazzard" were all still airing at the time. And I was right there, watching those and a few others.

For me, I think I liked the '78-'79 season best. Just imagine in one evening (Tuesday)... 8:00 PM, Happy Days; 8:30, Laverne & Shirley; 9:00, Three's Company; 9:30, Taxi; 10:00, Starsky & Hutch. Wow!

It was something. Only lasted one season. For the next season, Laverne & Shirley moved to Thursday nights (big mistake) the '78-'79 season was the last for Starsky & Hutch.

Fleet, I was a mere child in the 50's but I remember the decade very well! Very Very cool cars!:cool: My husband was a teenager between 1956-1962. He tells me all about it! I was in the 5th grade the year that he graduated(1961). We were both from the same small town(pop. around 200 at the time) and the school we both attended had grades K-12. So we attended the same school at the same time. but I didn't meet him until I was 17.Times sure were different then!:lol:
