Angela walked down the stairs from her room. Normally, she could smell eggs and toast in the kitchen all the way from the living room, but not today. She figured maybe they were doing pancakes this morning. The living room was empty, so she walked into the kitchen.

"Tony, I think I'm going to take the later train this morning."

She was looking down at her feet, until she didn't hear an answer.

"Tony? Did you..."

She looked up and noticed no one was in the kitchen. She sat back on her heel and then turned around. She ran and yelled up the stairs.

"Tony? Jonathan? Samantha?"

There was once again no answer.

"Well, I wonder where everyone could be."

Sam: Dad? Angela? Jonathan? Mona? Hey where are you guys?

"I'm in here, Sam."

Angela yelled at Samantha through the kitchen door.

"I have no clue where your father or my mother, or even my son are. Wait... where have you been?"

Sam: I went up to Mona's to see if anyone was up there.

"I wonder where everyone went..."

Angela's voice trailed as she ran back up the stairs to Tony's room.

"Tony?"

She opened the door, but no one was in the room. Then, she went to Jonathan's room and knocked on the door.

"Jonathan?"

There was no answer, so she peeked in to find his room empty as well.

"Samantha, are you sure there was no one at mother's?"

Sam: Positive. Where could they all be? Is it your birthday? maybe they are throwing a surprise party?!

((I'm gonna say this takes place RIGHT after the final episode. Since "The First Kiss" was Angela's birthday, I expect that Angela's birthday would come around the last episode of the 8th season. And I guess we can assume that Tony and Angela are still together, but not married yet, if Rurry agrees.))

"Well, yes, my birthday is the day after tomorrow, but why would they throw a surprise party? I mean, it's not that big of a deal."

She thought back to Tony's first year at the house. Everyone had forgotten her birthday that year, and Tony and her had shared in their first kiss, even though they were drunk. Then, she remembered that her first kiss with Tony had actually been when she was 13. How funny life was.
