I now have all 172 episodes of the "WINGS" series on DVD or VHS if anybody wants a copy. All 35 DVDs are professional looking and have an abundant variety of animated and interactive menus. Close to DVD picture quality. Also, includes bloopers, interviews, and extras. Email me at "jddempst@yahoo.com" for more details.

Just in case you are still looking, I too have Wings complete on DVD-Rs (nice motion menus and graphics) on 25 dvds. Recorded via DirecTV at high resolution, so the picture is awesome.

I have to say that I purchased and received the 35 DVDs from "jddempst", and I am VERY pleased with them. Not only do the episodes have beautiful quality (both picture and sound), but each disc has superb, VERY professional-looking animated and interactive menus and episode titles. Plus, it's so nice to be able to sit and RELAX while watching these episodes....the commercials have been edited out (very nicely and smoothly), and I can just sit back and enjoy commercial-free episodes, without having to fast-forward through endless commercials, like I had to do with my home-recorded VHS tapes.

Frankly, I was skeptical before I purchased this DVD set, but now I'm VERY glad that I did!

Yeah I'll bet the DVDs are good. But I think I'll wait for wings to be released on DVD because it'll probably have commentary and bloopers and extra stuff.

Pilotguy,

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, I am really proud of the DVD set. I am glad to share this wonderful series to you WINGS fans out there. If you are a big fan than you won't regret getting my set. The set also contains bloopers, interviews, and other extras.

Hi!

Tonight is my first time on the message board.

Just wondering how much for the DVD set.

I mean, what is taking so long for them
to actually put out Wings on DVD in the stores.

Shows I never heard of are already on DVD!

Thanks.:D

Paramount has ambitious TV-on-DVD plans for 2005, and we'll have more on that in the weeks and months to come. Stay tuned!

I saw this quote on TVshowsondvd.com as part of a release announcement for the 4th season of Frasier. Maybe at long last Wings will be included. Can only hope and wait.

yeah i agree with Angela Micelli, you shouldn't use the board for posting that you have the series to sell to people. And like Angela Micelli said, it is illegal. :( :(

Exactly. This is the same thing they're doing with Sliders right now, even though an official $80 set has been released by Universal.
I'd wait for an official release. I could see Paramount releasing the series in a tin, too.

I've still got faith that Paramount will release Wings on DVD. If someone from Paramount read this board, and saw this thread, they might say "why should we release it on DVD when they can get it from this guy?"

I think with the more hype Thomas Haden Church gets from Sideways , the more likely that stuff like Wings and Ned and Stacey will be released in vein of people wanting to see his earlier work. Some of his rarer movies might turn up as mainstream after Sideways . Two in particular I'd like to see, the almost non-existent movie Stolen Moments and the lost TV drama pilot, To Surf and Protect .
