Many Generations of Davis Women

Kelly Ripa plays Kelly Davis, a celebrity gossip columnist for a successful magazine agency. Kelly Davis is a 34 year old single mom. Kelly's 16 year old daughter, Madison Davis (Alexa Vega) is not that fond of her mother, due to the fact that Kelly had gotten pregnant with Madison when she was a senior in high school. Madison's father wanted nothing to do with Madison or Kelly. Kelly and Madison live in Kelly's mother in her Long Island home. Kelly's mom, Suzanne Davis (Suzanne Somers) has been divorced from Kelly's dad, Joe Davis (Tom Selleck) for eight years now. Suzanne, Kelly, and Madison are three women in different stages of their lives. Suzanne is constantly "on Kelly's back" about the things that Kelly does or lack of. Madison is ashamed of her mother.
In the season premiere of "Many Generations of Davis Women", Kelly accidently walks in on Madison and her current boyfriend, Derek (Martin Spanjers) doing it in Madison's bedroom. Kelly is furious and asks Suzanne for advice. Suzanne and Kelly make Madison take a series of home pregnancy tests, only to find out that Madison is indeed pregnant.
