He's probably one of those Cuban kitties trying to sneak onto our shores.

Damn foreign kitties!

I don't think they really know how to swim. This kitty was probably so frightened that he just kept moving his legs and that's probably what kept him afloat.
It is said that cats are afraid of water but I had this one cat growing up that loved to be in the tub while someone was taking a shower. He would just sit at the end of the tub and let the excess water fall on him.

Yeah, I think cats can swin. I remember watching an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies, and Ellie-May had a little cat, that looks like Garfield, swimming in the cement pond.

we have a cat now that likes sticking her head under the faucet when the water is running, she ALWAYS has a wet forehead

I'm so happy that the kitty is ok! Shame on the person that left the kitty in the ocean or however it got there. I think Nemo is a perfect name considering the condition it was in. :)

The survival instinct kicks in :)

My cousin had a cat that just loved water, whenever she would run bathwater he would be right on the edge of the tub with his paw dipped in the water, he even jumped in their with her once, it freaked her out :rotflmao:

Awww! I'm glad the cat is okay. Whoever put that cat in there, if someone had put him in there, is so heartless.:( Someone should put whoever did that into the Gulf of Mexico so they will know what's it's like for that poor kitten.
