Ned the Wino was who played by Raymond Allen. He probably was no longer interested in playing the Ned the Wino role by 1977 which is why they came up with a new wino. It was funny how the GT characters were talking about fishbone like he was seen before on the show. That episode was defintely for Ned the Wino not Fishbone. Since Ned was seen 4 or 5 times before that episode, it would have been a great episode for that character.

Wasn't he on Sanford and Son by that time anyway? I watched this yesterday and was cracking up at Willona and Fishbone doing the "church" dance.

I used to see Ray the bartender on many shows. I think he played on What's Happening during which Roger took him to court over an accident.

Yeah he was on Sanford and Son in 1977 but he was also on S&S in 1974, 1975, and 1976 and on Good Times too. I saw the guy who played fishbone laughing when he was doing the church dance with Willona. He had to stop dancing because he was laughing so hard.
