I just watched this movie again and as always happens, I rediscover what masterpiece this movie is! Mackenzie Phillips is so darn precious! All the actors- Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard,Cindy Williams, Harrison Ford,Paul LeMat, Charlie Martin Smith are just superb! Candy Clark, as Debbie , is so funny and so adorable! I just love this movie! George Lucas is a genius! If you have never seen this movie please do! It's a classic!:happyface

I rented it a month ago. It was ok.

I prefer Starwars :D

I just bought a used DVD of American Garaffiti a few days ago. Yes, it is a great movie! I remember seeing it in a theater when I was a kid

There are a lot of familiar faces in this movie. In fact it was sort of a launching pad for Harrison Ford, Rchard Dreyfus, Ron Howard(as an adult) and Cindy Williams. Other famous faces that I and probably a lot of you "older" members will recognize are;

Kathleen Quinlan
Kay Lenz
Suzanne Somers(her first movie role)
Susan Richardson(Susan, on Eight Is Enough)
Bo Hopkins
Debralee Scott
And of course a 14 year old MacKenzie Phillips(who was superb!)

That is probably true but The first Happy Days episode was a segment on "Love American Style" before the movie came out I think! But the movie probably gave the series the jumpstart.:D

I LOVE this movie. I first saw it when I was about 8. I still think it's great. The sequel is all right, but it doesn't compare to the original. It's interesting to see how they lived their lives as they got older, though.

This was always one of my favorite movies and I just loved all the classic Rock 'N' Roll songs that were played.

I love American Graffiti!

My dad and I have gotten autographs of a lot of the stars at various car shows-- most recently Candy Clark.

It's soooo quotable too, great cast, great cars, great music- total classic.
