Probably a silly question, but do you think Name Brand products or UnBrand(like store brand) products are better?

Just curious :)

Hmm.. depends on what it is, really. For example, I like Coca Cola better than store bought coke, but I like Stop & Shop's cinnimon rolls better than Pilsbury :)

Hmmm I know, I buy store brand canned veggies and they are just as good as green giant or other brands.

I don't think it matters with Frozen veggies. If there is someone who is NAME struck you can fix them by pouring Generic Ketchup inside the HEINZ bottle.*l*

Depends. Most drinks and foods I buy the name brands, but for quick snacks or whatever, I buy the generic. So much cheaper. Unless I have a coupon for it. Then I get the namebrand. Coupons = love.

Love cappincino, Diet Dr Pepper, and Steak no matter the bargin.

So true, some generic foods suck, and some generic clothes can be just as good as designer brands IMO :)

Hmm I am picky about pop, once in a while I will buy generic pop but it's only certain generic brands though. Sometimes it depends on how much money I have :)

I def. won't buy name brand cereal, I won't pay $5 a box for cereal :mad: Generic to me usually is just as good as the name brand :)

I buy mostly generic stuff. Most of them taste just the same, or even better than name brands. Just for a few exceptions I like to save $$

it really depends on what i'm buying and where :) Like the "Fred Meyer" Brand things are pretty good and better then some name brands but I HAVE to have regular non Generic Coca Cola

Yeah, it depends on what I'm buying. Overall, I really don't mind picking up generic brand foods - sodas not included. Same goes for cheese. I've tried the Kroger brand that's supposed to be just like Velveeta - no way, not even close. :lol:

Food...it depends on how it tastes or keeps. Medicines or other non-food goods, I usually buy store-brand because I can't see paying like $2 bucks more for the same ingredients.

Generic pop is not in my vocab. :D

I am very picky when it comes to brands, because I stupidly have it "set in my mind" that offbrands will not do, even in cases when they probably would. There is this local brand in WA for grocery products that is meant to be for "frugal folks," but it actually has stuff as good as or better than well known brands. Other than that, I usually go for big brands.

I started using generic ProActive yesterday for acne... I'm hoping that it will work the same. Generic and namebrand doesn't really matter to me except for soft drinks.
