My wife has a digital camera and I think while playing around with some pictures she screwed up my computer. Now when I try to save pics from the internet, they all save to Bitmap aka bmp. Even though the pictures are originally saved as JPG. I want to change my avatar, but I can't because of this bmp mess. Is there something I can do to change the settings or something? Any help would be appreciated.

That happened to me once. I was told to clean out my temp internet files and that worked. Maybe try that and see if it works.

When you right click to save a picture, click save as, and scroll donw to "jpg"...
