I have an interview with a pageant coordinator next week, but I'm nervous and self-concious because all the other models might look better than me. Don't get me wrong, I think I'm a beautiful person and everyone tells my I am, but I might not be tall enough, and I have a gap in my teeth(they are straight, but the gap really bothers me). And I might not have the right attitude when I go. I plan to be myself, but I just don't know what to expect. They said for my to just dress like I'm going on an interview, but what if all the other girls are wearing designer clothes...what if I just panic..............what should I expect....what should I do?????????????????????????????????????????????

Designer clothes aren't anything- trust me. I went through a stage where all I wanted was Tommy Hilfiger, Louie Vuitton, Christian Dior, all that stuff... ran up my parents credit card bills a good grand and a half. Sure, I still like to buy a purse or nice pair of shoes once in a while, but I learned that clothes are clothes, no matter what.. and I just regularly shop at Old Navy and PacSun, simple places like that now. Trust me, the brand of clothes doesn't define what kind of person you are at all. Just dress like you normally do and you'll be fine :)

Good manners and good grammar can go a long way in any circumstance. Good luck!

Easier said than done, but just calm down and don't worry about it. Think of all the other big time models out there...I mean, some people might have thought Cindy Crawford's mole was a "flaw" but look how far she went. And there are a lot of models (at least in my opinion) that aren't pretty, but they have the right attitude. Just go in there with the attitude that you're the best and it's your job to convince all those people that you are! Attitude is everything sometimes.

And as far as the designer clothes go...if all the other girls are wearing designer stuff and you're not, you'll stand out and they'll blend in. And for a modeling interview, you sure don't want to blend in!

Good luck!!

Relax.

Half the time we spend time worrying about doing something and then when we do it we realize that the worrying was the worst part and the actual "thing" wasn't as bad as we made it out to be.

Good Luck!

Yes. A female heavy metal artist. Am I supposed to do what everyone else does and not try something new?

Yes, female. The opposite of male. It's possible.

Both Lita Ford and Joan Jett played Guitar, and technically neither one of them were Heavy Metal.

All right...let me put it this way. Is there something wrong with starting a trend? There always has to be a first...first Rock n Roll artist, first Rapper, first Heavy Metal Band...I see nothing wrong with first Heavy Metal woman vocalist.

Really? How are you going to get started with ur modeling career? Wow..this interview is this Saturday, but I'm so nervous I feel like it's in 5 minutes. What should I wear (lol, besides confidence)? They saed for me to dress for an interview, but I don't want to look too plain. I want to wear something that will set me apart from the other girls...this is something I really want to do, and I intend on being everything they r looking for.
