In one of the episodes there was a poet/comedian. He kind of looks like Charlie Chaplin, putting his heels together with feet pointing out and a very nasily voice. We have been trying to figure out this actors name. It may have been in Epsidoe 55, "I'm No Henry Walden". Henry Walden, I believe, is Henry David Thoreau. I don't think Henry Walden is this actors name.

Maybe you're thinking of episode 89-"The Return of Edwin Carp". Stars from old radio shows were guests on the "Alan Brady Show". The actor who played Carp was Richard Haydn, who was also in the "Sound of Music".

I think the actor you're thinking of is Carl Reiner himself. He played a poet in "I'm No Henry Walden". Hope this helps!

I should have been more clear---Edwin Carp (Richard Haydn) recited poems, spoke nasally & put his feet together like Charlie Chaplin.
