There's a singing contest online called Net Idol [ www.netidol.tk ] and I didn't make it in my group, but there's a wildcard round. I'm part of the wildcard group and I need a song to sing. I know y'all don't know what my voice sounds like (some of you might, but the majority doesn't) and I'm not asking for songs that fit my singing style - I just need song suggestions. I've been thinking for about a week now, and I just can't think of any good ones. The ones I did think of, I sang and sounded horrible... so I need a good choice.

ANY input at all would be appreciated :D

Oh, and that website - I wouldn't click it unless you have a pop-up blocker. My friend said the pop-ups nearly killed him (I don't know how bad it is though - I have a pop-up blocker :p)

Total Elcipse of the Heart or Black Velvet oooo Nikki. Hmm. I'm assuming you have a voice similar to hers.

"Edge of Seventeen" (Stevie Nicks) and "Uninvited" (Alanis Morissette) are pretty good choices.... i think  Good luck

"Friends" by Bette Midler- such a catchy song!!!

"Cry Baby" by Janis Joplin, and another of Joplin's I like is "Mercedes Benz"-I like some of her other songs too.

"Respect" by Aretha Franklin!
