James"Thunder"Early 07-04-2004, 01:20 AM Yeah, it probably needs to be cleaned and try wiping the disc *Bela Lugosi* 07-04-2004, 01:30 AM Originally posted by fullhousefever Would anyone know why my movie would stop in the middle of it? would it be because i would have to get my dvd player cleaned? Don't put your fingers on the back side of the DVD. Or if it is a double-sided DVD, then make sure you only grab it by the outer-edge, or the little hole in the middle. Wipe it with something dry & soft, like a tissue or something. That should keep your DVD clean and healthy. :) Janice 07-04-2004, 01:33 AM I bought a dvd cleaning disc. I just play it, and it cleans in about a minute. I also have dvd cleaning cloths. Maxell makes them both, and they work well. dandelion wine 07-04-2004, 02:10 AM That's a very good indicator that you should clean your player. I bought a cleaner disk at Sam Goody, along with those clothes for your disks. Use the cleaner disk after every 10 viewing hours (or around there), and you'll be good to go. :) dawsongirl 07-04-2004, 02:37 AM I def need to get one of those for my CD player. robyrob 07-04-2004, 11:52 AM Originally posted by *Bela Lugosi* Or if it is a double-sided DVD, if its a LOOONG movie - try flipping it over :) passionsfan79 07-05-2004, 03:16 PM thanks for the help ill give it a try when i watch it again AKA 07-05-2004, 07:23 PM If you're talking about a brief pause (instead of a stop), it may be what's called a "layer change." |
