I know. That doesn't even look like a season 1 photo. I'm glad it's coming out and all, I'd just wish it included John. Same with Three's Company. Their season 1 cover was from season 3 or 4.

It seems that Taxi has run into a roadblock on the way to it's October 12th release date, and won't make it out on time. This morning, Paramount Home Entertainment made available a new calendar for upcoming releases, and Taxi - The Complete 1st Season, is now scheduled to arrive at stores on November 16th.

Everything else seems to be the same about the set, including the artwork we've previously shown you. No reason was given for the change, but it could be as simple as trying to spread out the multi-disc releases to accomodate availability of facilities at the replication plants. Stay tuned, though, and if we find out anything else we'll let you know.

I got season 1 of Taxi last week. I grew up watching the reruns on CBC in Canada along with WKRP.
