Ya'll know how much I love DL&Q, but Doyle's wife makes me so freakin' MAD!!!!!!!!!!!

I invited them to my church and here is part of her response:

"...If a person is given the choice of paying $15 to see DL&Q or waiting until the next day to see then at a church where they'll take up an offering and he can put in $1, where do you think he'll go to see DL&Q?"....

Personally, I think that's rude... maybe some people at my church don't have enough money to see DL&Q and the only way they would ever get to see them is if they came to my church.

Excellent point, one that she should have pointed out to her.

Now, did you invite them to attend your church or perform at your church? In her defense, if it was to perform, I'm sure she wouldn't be the only one to feel that way. I think if you were to ask any musical act, they would want a fee. If it just were to attend your church, then that's another story. I can understand you wanting to spread the word about DL&Q. Maybe you should have explained that to her. But you know Doyle's wife?!! I'm impressed. I wish I knew even one of the wives of the guys from Dream Theater!!

I can agree with that...if that's the case...but the response still seemed kinda nasty.

Yes, I meant for them to ATTEND my church... our church is probably too small for them to perform. Maybe I should have clairified that. I'm through with it though!
